Local community members in the Tallahassee area came together to organize dinners and food giveaways. The organizations provided opportunities to offer company and a warm meal to those in need.
On November 19, The Mission Possible Enrichment Center and ALARM International Church distributed more than 200 “Bags of Blessings” during their annual Food Pantry giveaway. The bags they provided included a turkey with fixings and fresh produce.
This year’s distribution was made possible by the support of Second Harvest of the Big Bend, Humana Healthy Horizons in Florida, and Meraki Solar’s Tallahassee office. These organizations contributed food, funding, or staff support to help serve the community.
